The Office of the Vice Principal

Office of the Vice Principal exists to assist the Principal of the College, in the overall administration, management, academic and disciplinary issues.

The vice Principal is accountable for supporting the Principal to develop and ensure quality teaching and learning, internal organisation, operational management and supervision of support staff. The Vice Principal works to develop an inclusive, tolerant and positive culture in the college that underpins good standards of behaviour.

Responsibilities of the Vice Principal

  • Managing college activities and staff, including lecturers and support personnel.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining curriculum standards.
  • Observing lecturers and evaluating their performance.
  • Helping developments and review of budgets, policies, and rules and regulations.
  • Assisting with recruitment and training of all new staff.
  • Establishing rapport and maintaining relationships with parents, staff, and students.
  • Sitting in on disciplinary hearings and providing advice for at-risk students.
  • Addressing concerns raised by students, staff, and parents.
  • Enforcing college rules and regulations
  • Liaising with various departments and forwarding any issues or suggestions to the Principal.
